February 2025 is already here, and Netflix is coming in with a series heavy lineup this month. There’s a few thrillers, a few comedies, and even a long-awaited series finale. So, let’s go ahead and dive into the biggest Netflix releases of February 2025, starting on the sixth.
Cassandra (February 6th)

Our first new release of the month is a brand-new sci-fi series called Cassandra. It’s a German series in which a family moves into an old home with an electronic assistant who uses every means at her disposal to avoid being abandoned again. Cassandra is another in the popular AI gone wrong trend. Not exactly the most original premise ever, but hopefully it’s good fun. You can check out this six-episode series on the 6th.
Apple Cider Vinegar (February 6th)
Next up is another new series, this time based on a shocking true story called Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple Cider Vinegar follows two young women who set out to cure their life-threatening illnesses through health and wellness, influencing their global online communities along the way.
All of which would be incredibly inspiring if it were all true. Apple Cider Vinegar is inspired by the real-life story of an influencer who falsely claimed to have cured her terminal brain cancer through natural remedies. This six-episode crime drama is a limited series that drops on the 6th.
Aftermath (February 10th)
After that is the action thriller movie Aftermath. Aftermath follows a war veteran grappling with PTSD, who becomes ensnared in a hostage situation on Boston’s Tobin Memorial Bridge. Aftermath stars Dylan Sprouse and should be a decent watch for fans of action thrillers.
It’s not releasing in every region but it is releasing in the US and UK for sure and most likely a few more places. You can check Aftermath on February 10th.
Surviving Black Hawk Down (February 10th)
Another release on the tenth is the three-part docuseries Surviving Black Hawk Down. Surviving Black Hawk Down provides an in-depth look at the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, featuring firsthand accounts from both American soldiers and Somali citizens involved in the conflict.
This is of course the event that inspired the Ridley Scott movie Black Hawk Down, and Scott returns for the docuseries as producer. You can check out this three-part series on the tenth.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep (February 11th)
If you’re a fan of the fantasy series The Witcher, you’ll be happy to see there’s a new adult animated movie coming called The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. Sirens of the Deep is based on the Witcher short story “A Little Sacrifice” and follows Geralt of Rivia as he investigates a series of attacks in a seaside village, causing him to get entangled in a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople.
Sirens of the Deep returns Doug Cockle as the voice of Geralt, who is the fan favorite who also voiced the video games. With a talented voice cast and high-quality animation, it should be a must-watch for fans of The Witcher universe. You can check it out on the 11th.
Zero Day (February 20th)
Netflix is dropping another brand-new series in February, the political thriller Zero Day. Zero Day is about a former US President who searches for the perpetrators of a catastrophic global cyberattack that has resulted in widespread chaos and numerous fatalities.
Zero Day will star Robert DeNiro and apparently this is his first-ever series. It’s being created by Eric Newman, who also created Narcos and Narcos: Mexico, and Zero Day promises to deliver intense political intrigue and suspense that should be good for thriller fans. You can watch this six-episode miniseries on February 20th.
